perspective

Hmm...let's put things in perspective shall we?

Murphy's law states that, given a chance, everything that can go wrong will go worng.True?-i'd like to think so.

I mean,it's all around us-like how, whilst trying to flag a cab,all of them seem to be on the opposite side of the road and when you cross the road,by some fateful cockup, all the cabs are on the side you were on originally or like when you're waiting for the bus that's taking ages to arrive only to have 3 of those buses arrive at the same time.

Its happened to all of us,just in varying degrees. Now, let me share with you,my dear reader,my experience with good ol' Murphy.

So,2 sunday's ago(28th May),i was at mass.Sounds normal right?Wrong.See,this wasn't just any normal mass, it was a "first holy communion" mass for kids receiving their first holy communion. And one of the kids receiving his holy communion was my ex-boyfriend's relatives. So anyway, expectadly,Kathi was at mass,sitting-now here's where Murphy just had to kick in-in the same section of pews, just a few rows behind me. See this is what i don't get. There's a whole church full of seats and of all places and days i just had to be seated at that particualr section. Coincidence? Fate? i think not, just plain and simple Murphy's law.

Every action has a reaction. Action:Noun:Energy,activity,force,spirit,vim. Reaction:Noun:Response,Answer.

Everything we do,or don't do will always, inevitably bring about a consequence. For example, someone SMSes you.For all intent and purposes,we'll take this as being the action. Now,there are two possible reactions, which would lead to two very different endings. First, you could choose to not reply and delete the message, ending anything right there or you could choose to reply and see where the "conversation" would take you. The latter is what i chose to do when kathi SMSed me that sunday to tell me he had seen me in church, although you and i both know it's a bit difficult to disregard that fact-we were, after all, just a few rows from each other.I'd like to call this feigning ignorance. But anyway,he SMSes me telling me about this compettion his band is in which was going to be held on the following saturday, and that he would like me to come. I reply in the negative but do say i'll try my best to come;end of story.

In summary,if i had chosen not to reply to his first message, than i probably would not have been told about this, and i would not have had to subject myself to the utter dissapointment i did on saturday.

See,in the end,i did decide to go for this little compettition of theirs but unfourtunately for me,they(namely kathi) had other plans-put it simply,i was not wanted there.

But instead of acting maturely and telling me nicely how he felt-mind you he had ample oppurtunity to do so,i called him twice and messaged him once-the immature prick decided to get his cousin to call me.Well up to this point everything seems fair right?Wrong again.because his cousin, instead of telling me clearly and concisely how kathi felt,he came up with a pathetic excuse for a reason, which he of course later atrributed to being just a joke.

Now see the thing about it is, i knew he was lying.Heck,i even wanted to yell at him for being so godamned rude, but, every action has a reaction and i realised that if i had done so than i wouldn't have been the better for it. so there.

putting things into perspective?.i'd like to think so.

....till next time fellas...catch you on the flipside=)...
